Creating a simple, clear, and inviting website for a family-run asparagus farm in Latvia.

Cibiņu Sparģeļi is a family-run asparagus and vegetable farm in rural Latvia. While their produce is loved by local customers, they didn’t have an online space to share updates, tell their story, or make it easy for people to get in touch.

This self-initiated, real-life practice project aimed to create a simple, functional, and visually warm website that could grow with their needs — from seasonal updates to contact and order info.

Reflection

This project taught me how powerful simplicity can be — especially when designing for real people with real needs. There was no need for fancy features here — just clarity, warmth, and purpose.

It also reminded me how important it is to design with the client’s voice, not just for them. From the informal tone to the images, the site reflects the soul of this small farm.

I’m currently preparing the Webflow implementation to bring this design live and into the hands of its future users.
